Step 1:
· Open Eudora. If the Password dialog box appears, click Cancel.
· Click on either the Tools menu and select Options or the Special menu and select Settings (you'll have one or the other).
· Click on the Getting Started category on the left and fill in the information as follows.
· Where it says POP account, type in your Express 56 username plus "pop3.express56.com" (i.e. "johndoe@pop3.express56.com") and where it says Real name, type in your full name.

Step 2:
· Click on the Personal Information category and fill in the information as follows:
· The POP account and Real name sections should automatically be filled out (leave these settings as is).
· Under Return address, type in your Express 56 email address (i.e. "johndoe@pop3.express56.com").

Step 3:
· Click on the Hosts category and fill in the information as follows:
· The POP account should automatically be filled out (leave this setting as is).
· Next to SMTP, type in "smtp.express56.com".

Step 4:
· Click on the Checking Mail category and check to see if the settings are as follows
· The POP account should automatically be filled out (leave this setting as is).
· Usually, leaving everything as the default settings works fine.
· Be sure to uncheck the option to Leave mail on server, otherwise you will have to repeatedly download every message - new AND old - whenever Eudora checks your mail.

Step 5:
· Click on the Sending Mail category and check to see if the settings are as follows:
· The Return address and SMTP server sections should automatically be filled out (leave these settings as is).
· Double-check everything else (It always helps, doesn't it?).
· Click OK.
· Exit Eudora.
